MirageTEL is two things in one app: mobile data abroad without hunting for a SIM card, and a real phone number that rings on your phone.
Mobile data (eSIM)
1. Pick a destination — 175+ countries and regional plans.
2. Pay once, by card or from your balance. No subscription.
3. Install the eSIM with one tap on iPhone (iOS 17.4+), with the QR code, or by entering the activation code.
4. Turn it on when you land. Your home SIM stays in place.
A phone number of your own
• A real number, paid monthly from your balance. Calls ring on this phone like any call, even when the app is closed.
• Call out with your number as caller ID; the price per minute is shown on the keypad before you dial.
• Send and receive texts on the number; each text shows its price before you send it.
• Your contacts stay on your phone: the app reads them to dial, and never uploads them.
• Numbers need a one-time identity verification, reviewed by a person.
What you get
• Clear plans: the data, the validity and the price are on every card — and an ⓘ that explains exactly what the plan does and does not do.
• Live usage where the network reports it, with the last reading and its time.
• Top-ups without a new eSIM, for plans that allow it.
• Receipts, order history and your balance, all under Account.
• Send an eSIM to someone else: a named plan for a named person, delivered by e-mail.
Privacy
• Data plans need no identity check.
• We keep no browsing history and show no third-party ads.
• Your activation codes are stored encrypted and never handed to a third-party service.
• Calls are not recorded.
Good to know
• Your phone must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked.
• Validity of a data plan starts at the first connection to a network, not at purchase.
• Data plans are for internet use; calls and texts are a separate service on your MirageTEL number.
• Numbers are available in the United States today; calls from them reach 27 European countries.
