About this app

MirathPro is an educational Islamic inheritance assistant that helps you work out how an estate is divided among heirs according to the rules of ʿIlm al-Farāʾiḍ (Mīrāth), following the majority (jumhūr) method.

Inheritance in Islam is precise — and getting the shares wrong has real consequences. MirathPro is built around one principle: transparency. It never just hands you a number. For every case it shows the heirs, the Qur'anic share (fard) each one receives, who is blocked (hajb) and why, and how the estate resolves — including ʿawl and radd — with clear, step-by-step reasoning you can learn from and verify.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Enter an estate: assets, debts, funeral costs and bequests (wasiyya)
• Add the surviving relatives from a complete list of Qur'anic and residuary heirs
• Get an exact, fraction-accurate distribution with a full explanation
• See each heir's share as a fraction, a percentage and an amount
• Export and share a clean PDF report of any case
• Save unlimited cases and revisit or edit them anytime
• Works fully offline — your cases are cached on your device

LEARN AND VERIFY
• Step-by-step breakdown of how each share is derived
• Handles special situations: ʿawl (increase), radd (return), and blocking
• Built to be checked against the references, not taken on trust

ASK A SCHOLAR
• Send a private question to a verified scholar from inside the app
• Browse community questions and answers (shown anonymously)

SUBSCRIPTION
MirathPro is free to try. An optional subscription unlocks unlimited saved cases, full edit and delete, and priority features. Subscriptions are billed securely through Google Play.

IMPORTANT — CONFIRM BEFORE ACTING
MirathPro is a learning and preparation aid. It does not replace a qualified scholar, mufti, or Kadhi (Islamic court). Whenever a case touches a point of juristic difference or complexity, the app flags it clearly — you must confirm that result with a qualified scholar or Kadhi in your own region before distributing any wealth.

Available in English, Swahili and Arabic.
