Blocktide is a calm block puzzle game built on one promise: in Classic and Adventure, every hand can be fully placed. Drag blocks onto the 8×8 board, fill rows and columns to clear them, and chain your clears into combos. A relaxing block puzzle for any moment, with no wifi and no account needed.
Every hand can be fully placed
In Classic and Adventure, every hand of three blocks is checked before it reaches you, so all three can be placed. A game ends because of the moves you chose, not because of a shape that could never fit. If a Classic board still leaves you stuck, a Tide Swap washes the stuck blocks away and brings in blocks that fit.
Reach a zone, change the colours
Every game starts in the colourful Sunset Tide look. In Classic, reaching a new zone or clearing the whole board sends a wave of colour across the screen: every block, the board and the background turn one of twelve colour families, from Coral Tide and Midnight Gold to Pearl Tide, and the blocks turn glossy or carved. Blitz and Zen earn colours too. Prefer your own look? Keep my colours, a theme or a Blocks choice in Settings holds it.
Calm music, calmer praise
Blocktide has its own calm background music, on by default; Music in Settings turns it off. It stays silent while the game is in the background and does not start over music you are already playing. Praise is calmer too: smaller words, one at a time.
Dive through the Tide Depths
Your Classic score carries you down through eight zones, from the Shallows to the Pearl Trench, each with its own art. The tide gauge shows where you are and how far the next zone is, such as "Zone 3 of 8 · 5,200 to Kelp Forest". Every zone you reach pays coins.
A treasure for every new best
Beat your best and a treasure chest bursts open, a trophy rises and coins fly into your counter. Coins come from playing: zones, board clears, the Daily Puzzle, missions, achievements and a 7-day login calendar. Spend them to keep playing after a game ends, or on power-ups.
Five block games in one
• Classic: the pure, endless block puzzle, with no power-ups: just fair hands, Tide Swaps and the Tide Depths.
• Adventure: 200 levels, each with a goal (clear lines, collect gems or reach a score), a move limit and up to three stars.
• Daily Puzzle: one shared puzzle a day, with the same start for everyone and one ranked try. Keep your streak, catch up on missed days, earn monthly trophies and share your result.
• Blitz: 90 seconds on the clock, and every line you clear adds time.
• Zen: no game over. When nothing fits, the hand washes out and you play on.
How to play
1. Drag a block from your hand of three onto the board.
2. Fill a whole row or column to clear it. Clear several at once, or keep clearing move after move, to build a combo.
3. Lines that will clear light up while you drag, so every move is easy to plan.
