About this game

World War I or the First World War, often abbreviated as WWI or WW1, began on 28 July 1914 and ended on 11 November 1918. Referred to by contemporaries as the "Great War", its belligerents included much of Europe, the Russian Empire, the United States, and the Ottoman Empire, with fighting also expanding into the Middle East, Africa, and parts of Asia. One of the deadliest conflicts in history, an estimated 9 million people were killed in combat, while over 5 million civilians died from military occupation, bombardment, hunger, and disease.

Peace and conflict studies is an academic field which identifies and analyses violent and nonviolent behaviours, as well as the structural mechanisms attending violent and non-violent social conflicts. This is to better understand the processes leading to a more desirable human condition. One variation, Peace studies (irenology), is an interdisciplinary effort aiming at the prevention, de-escalation, and solution of conflicts. This contrasts with war studies (polemology), directed at the efficient attainment of victory in conflicts. Disciplines involved may include political science, geography, economics, psychology, sociology, international relations, history, anthropology, religious studies, and gender studies, as well as a variety of other disciplines.

Pacifism may be based on moral principles (a deontological view) or pragmatism (a consequentialist view). Principled pacifism holds that all forms of violent behavior are inappropriate responses to conflict, and are morally wrong. Pragmatic pacifism holds that the costs of war and inter-personal violence are so substantial that better ways of resolving disputes must be found.

I certainly won't say that this app is unplayable, but difficult to to get to a point where anything is fun, there seems to inflation to tech prices to the point it's hard to purchase them and the game time seems too short to accomplish all that much or I get bored easily. Furthermore; I seem to recall having more options in the past for diplomacy, though I could be confused. All in all I like the concept, but I don't think it'll get to a place where I'd enjoy it as the masterpiece I'd hoped for

The game concept is 10/10, however there are a few problems that make it cumbersome to play. 1. The limited distance troops can be from their base is annoying. Perhaps allowing transports to move as many times as they want would fix this. 2. It takes too long to make meaningful progress with technology. 3. The economy page doesn't tell you what livelihood does due to a typo. 4. It would be easier to navigate if you could zoom out more.

This is the best game ever. While the high cost of weapons research is frustrating, it seems to me like a good way to simulate the effect of a recession on government, which is a new realistic addition to the game, however it would be nice if you had the option to play in "Arcade Mode," where you could go back to playing like the older versions and declare independence from colonisers and end your peoples' welfare. I'd also appreciate if they reverted the movement system, so we can actually win.
