Misaskim Shiva Minyanim helps members of the Jewish community find, join, and support shiva minyanim — prayer services held at a house of mourning — happening near them.

When someone is sitting shiva, a minyan needs to come together so Kaddish can be said. This app makes it simple to see where a minyan is needed nearby and to help make sure one forms.

• Tzenter Mode (opt-in alerts) — Turn on background location alerts and get notified the moment a new shiva minyan is created near you, even when the app is closed. Because these gatherings are often arranged on short notice, a timely alert can be the difference between having a minyan and not.

• See who's coming — Each minyan shows how many people have committed to attend, so you can tell when one is close to reaching the required quorum.
