CineOptix is a complete offline camera and lighting calculator for filmmakers, videographers, camera assistants, and photographers. Calculate depth of field, hyperfocal distance, ND filter stops, sensor crop factor, and studio light falloff on set - with no internet connection, no account, and no sign up.

DEPTH OF FIELD & HYPERFOCAL DISTANCE
Compute near limit, far limit, and total depth of field for any lens and sensor combination. Set focal length, f-stop, and focus distance to preview your sharpness range and bokeh falloff before you roll. The DOF calculator supports Full Frame, Super 35, APS-C, Micro Four Thirds, and Medium Format. Find the hyperfocal distance for maximum sharpness in landscape and wide establishing shots.

SENSOR CROP FACTOR MATRIX
Convert any lens to its 35mm equivalent focal length in one tap. See the exact field of view angle for your camera body, and compare how the same lens frames differently across sensor sizes.

ND FILTER EXPOSURE CALCULATOR
Work out the exact shutter speed and aperture compensation for any neutral density filter. Convert between ND numbers, optical density, and stops reduced. Essential for long exposure work, shooting wide open in daylight, and keeping a 180 degree shutter under bright sun.

SHUTTER ANGLE CONVERTER
Convert shutter angle to shutter speed at any frame rate, from 24 fps to high speed slow motion. Includes flicker free frequency sync for 50 Hz and 60 Hz mains, so you can shoot under HMI, fluorescent, and LED fixtures without banding.
