About this app

This is an unofficial app compatible with GoPro™ Labs enabled cameras. With the launch of GoPro Labs, users can control their GoPro cameras via custom QR Codes. This utility makes that easier on a mobile device, particularly for those without reliable internet connections. QR Codes generated support:
1) setting video, photo and time-
lapse camera modes on the black edition HERO7, HERO8, HERO9, HERO10/Bones, HERO11/Mini and MAX cameras.
2) setting up custom Protune configurations
3) setting camera preferences
4) triggering time delay starts, including sunset and sunrise
5) IMU, audio level, speed or motion triggered video captures
6) support for multiple QR Codes.
7) saving QR Codes for sharing

To successfully use this app, users must first upgrade their GoPro camera to be using GoPro Labs firmware.

Nice app - very convenient. I'm having a problem when I try to save a QR code, I get an error message at the bottom "QR Sticker save Failed!". I checked my app permissions, and Storage is enabled, so I don't know what else would be causing that. I assume the save writes the QR code to my photo gallery. A nice feature would be the ability to maintain a list of saved codes, rather than having to swipe left/right to navigate between codes. This may be a GoPro labs issue, but I don't see an option (either in the app or in the labs online list) to set the camera front/back selection on the MAX.

Thank you for your report, that is happening on some devices, and I need to determine why. I will be looking into it. Update: 1.3.1 has improved this by writing to application data if the gallery save fails. These images are retrievable with tools like Google Files. I believe this issue will improve on Android 11.

Great idea, but flawed implementation and no updates for new cameras. I run trails and while I run, I want it to simulate Quickcapture every 5 minutes: meaning that every 5 minutes it should turn on, film for say 30 seconds and immediately turn off. It's a very simple and very obvious use case and it's still not there many years later. And support for modern cameras and mods, like Max Mod Lens 2.0 is flawed.

Amazing way of getting the settings right. I use it for naked as well as full sized GoPros. Plus additional useful settings that don't exist in the device UI. Only problem I have is that you have to split up settings into two qr codes in some cases.
