About this app
People who know each other, help each other and get things done.
MisiBi is a public network, open to anyone. You create an account from any country, with no invitation and without belonging to any organisation. You say what needs doing or what you need, and the people around you see it and show up.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Feed — see what is happening right now: who needs help, who already offered, where people are gathering on Saturday.
• Announce an action — write what needs doing, pick a category, set the date and place, add photos. The announcement reaches everyone who can help.
• Tasks — ask, receive, tick off. Everyone sees who is doing what, and nothing gets lost along the way.
• Free Market — give away what you no longer need and receive from others: a listing, a request, then the hand-over, all inside the app.
• Messages and calls — talk directly to the person next to you, send photos and sort out tomorrow, without leaving the app.
• Live location — share where you are in a conversation, for as long as you choose, and it stops on its own at the time you set.
• Stories — short moments from the field, as they happen.
• Post once, reach everywhere — what you publish in MisiBi can also go to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or YouTube, through your own accounts, connected by you.
• Time capsule — write something today and tie it to a day in the future, for yourself or for someone dear.
• MisiBi AI and MisiBiblia — two assistants you talk to like in any conversation: one helps with the app and searches the internet, the other talks about Scripture. The answers come from an AI assistant, they can be wrong, and you can report them.
• Your profile — not a pile of likes, but a list of the things you actually showed up for.
• Donations — give to the cause you choose: card on our site, PayPal, Revolut or bank transfer, all starting from the app.
ADS AND DATA
No ads for now. We never sell or lend anyone’s data. What leaves the app is only what is needed for it to work: the text of your conversation with the assistants reaches the providers that write the answers, and a post reaches Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or YouTube only if you send it there.
