About this app

Weather, but with feelings.

SkyCritter is a real weather app with a heart: a tiny pixel-art critter who lives in your sky and reacts to the actual conditions outside your window. Sunny and 90°? They're sunbathing. Thunderstorm rolling in? They're hiding. Snowing? They're catching flakes on their tongue.

REAL WEATHER
• Current conditions, hourly and 7-day forecasts for your saved cities
• An animated sky that matches reality — drifting pixel clouds, rain, snow, twinkling stars, and a sun and moon that cross the sky on their true arc for your location
• Day and night, moon phases, and storm skies, all in hand-placed pixels

A CRITTER WHO CARES
• Your critter's mood follows a 12-step weather cascade — heat, cold, rain, snow, thunder, wind, humidity, air quality and more
• Tap your critter to chat — every critter has its own personality, in English and Spanish
• They sleep at night. They wear little hats when it's windy. They put on a mask when the air is bad. We don't make the rules. (We do.)

GROW YOUR FAMILY
• Start with Whiskers the tabby, free forever
• Adopt more critters — cats, dogs, a capybara, a raccoon and friends — each with their own art for every weather mood
• SkyCritter Pro adds air quality and pollen levels for your locations

No accounts. No ads. No tracking. Your locations stay on your device.

What’s new

Fixes the Critter Store so it only shows critters you can actually
adopt. Pippa the hippo is coming in a future update and no longer
appears with an unavailable price.
