About this app

MitoREMOTE is the remote control for your Mito Red Light panels: MitoPRO X and MitoADAPT.

Pick a mode, set your time and brightness, and start. Your panel switches off on its own when the timer ends.

WHAT YOU CAN DO:
- Connects on its own: all you need to do is enable Bluetooth on your panel, hold your phone near it, and the app will find it.
- Every mode, one tap away: numbered modes with a swatch showing each mode's light mix. (Turn on Details to see the wavelengths.)
- Time and brightness: tap the minutes to type a number, or use plus and minus. Separate red and near-infrared sliders on panels that support them.
- Timed sessions: a clear countdown, Pause and Resume, and a summary of time, intensity and mode when each session ends.
- All your panels in one app: add every panel in your home, name them, and switch between them.
- Programs on MitoADAPT: Gradual Sunrise, Gradual Sunset and Red/NIR intervals.
- Learn: what each wavelength is for, from 590 nm to 850 nm.
- Three looks: Light, Dark and Mito themed, or match your phone.

Works with MitoPRO X and MitoADAPT panels over Bluetooth. Requires Android 8.0 or later.

Disclaimer: Please put on protective eyewear before you start. Near-infrared light is invisible.

This app is pretty bad. it's fairly simple and it reliably connects but the UI is from 15 years ago. and unless I leave it open on my phone, the timer does wonky things. Sometimes it resets completely or sometimes it just doesn't follow the right countdown. I just use the controls on the light, this app isn't worth it.

Hard to understand how works if you just started using redlight therapy, and apparently you can't just use it on your phone? have to give permission to connect to other devices

Bluetooth connection does not work within the app after troubleshooting it's suggestions and app controls are poorly placed

What’s new

What's new in 2.5.1: a quick tour of the new look the first time you open the update. The Learn page now lists the ADAPT 4.0's 670 nm band. Connection messages tell you to check the panel's Bluetooth. A short note explains how Resume works the first time you pause. A banner confirms when your panel reconnects.
