Pfadwerk isn't a tour planner. Pfadwerk is your digital hiking journal:
It accompanies you on your hike, collects everything you experience – and transforms it into a real hiking report.
📖 HIKING JOURNAL ON THE GO
Capture your impressions directly on the trail – with one hand, even when going uphill. Choose a category (highlight, viewpoint, sighting, thought), type a few words, add a photo. Timestamps and GPS coordinates are automatically attached.
Categories for sightings: bird, mammal, insect, flower, tree, and more – precise enough to actually use later.
🛰️ GPS TRACKING IN THE BACKGROUND
Pfadwerk continuously records your route – even with the screen locked and in your pocket. No zigzagging, no gaps in the GPS: a true Android background service ensures clean tracks. Pause and resume with a long press of the button.
At the end: Distance and duration are calculated automatically. You manually enter your ascent and descent – for values you can rely on. GPX export for outdoor apps.

Pfadwerk generates a complete, blog-style hiking report from your logbook entries, GPS data, and photos – lively, engaging, and free of clichés.
