Set Up Your Profile

Your profile lets other users know more about you. Be sure to list all of your skills so that gig owners will want to hire you.

Users can also read your reviews and check out your ratings. As you collect positive reviews and ratings, you will establish a solid reputation, which will make other users eager to collaborate with you.

Post a Gig

You can create and post gigs that will be seen by performers who would like to work for you.

The posting process is super quick and easy, with zero stress involved. When creating your gig, add all the necessary information that performers would need to know.

You can also include which positions need to be filled. Add as many positions as you want.

Once posted, your gig will be placed in the appropriate category, ensuring the right performers come across it. If necessary, your gig will be placed in multiple categories.

Choose the Best Musicians and Singers

When performers book your gig, you can review each one. This allows you to decide which person is the best choice. Once you’ve made your decision, you can hire that performer.


Search for Talent

When you purchase a subscription, you don’t have to wait for the talent to come to you. Instead, you will have access to an extensive list of gifted musicians and singers.

Search by location to find local performers. Then, short cut your search by choosing a specific category of performers to view.

Browse the list of results to find the right performers for your gig. When you come across promising prospects, invite them to book your gig.

Search for a Gig

If you are a performer, MixingBoard allows you to search for gigs located anywhere in the US. But there’s no need to feel overwhelmed. Thanks to the app’s categories, you can narrow down your search to find exactly what you are looking for.

Furthermore, each gig displays job details and open positions. Those details will help you determine which gig is right for you.

Book a Gig

When you find a gig that interests you, go ahead and book it. You will be added to the waitlist. If the gig owner thinks you’d be a good fit, you’ll be asked to confirm the position you applied for.

At that point, you are officially in!

You can book as many gigs as your heart desires.

You will only be required to pay if you confirm a booking. That means you will only invest money when a return is certain.

Ratings and reviews

Not a single gig posted in any category in any location. I tried every major city. It's almost as if these morons who made this app don't understand you need to make it free at first or else no one will use it. Why would I pay to use an app no one else is willing to pay for? Business geniuses we've got here. Great concept but incredibly poorly executed. The prices aren't even that high, but only if there are any gigs to be heard of. You need people first.

Please add the option for string instruments (violin, viola, cello, and double bass)!
