SCIENTIFIC COLOR MATCHING

Mixura uses Delta E 2000 (CIEDE2000), the industry-standard color difference formula used by paint manufacturers and professional colorists. Colors are compared in the CIELAB color space for perceptual accuracy — not simple RGB matching.

Match quality ratings tell you exactly how close each paint is:
- Near-perfect: indistinguishable from target
- Excellent: barely perceptible difference
- Very good: slight difference visible to trained eyes
- Good: noticeable but acceptable

SMART MIXING RECOMMENDATIONS

When no single paint is close enough, Mixura calculates two-paint mixing recipes. You see the exact ratio, a visual preview of the mixed color, and the accuracy rating — so you know exactly what to put on your palette before you open a tube.

DETAILED PAINT INFORMATION

Every match shows: paint name, brand, product line, pigment codes (Colour Index names), opacity, lightfastness rating, and price series. Make informed buying decisions instead of guessing at the art store.
