Turn videos into your own notes.
utudy is a note app you write in while a YouTube video plays. Drop a timestamp as you write, and later tap that note to jump straight back to the exact moment it came from.
■ Just share the YouTube link
Share from the YouTube app and pick utudy. The video arrives as a course. Share a playlist and every video comes in at once. No copying and pasting links.
■ Timestamped notes
Tap the timestamp button while writing and the current playback position is saved into your note. When you review, tap the timestamp to jump right back to that part of the video. No more hunting for "where did they say that?"
■ A canvas you write on by hand
Pen, highlighter and eraser. Lasso what you wrote to move it, then copy, paste, cut and duplicate to tidy up. Undo and redo whenever you need them.
Drop text boxes, images, tables, shapes, sticky notes and stickers straight onto the page.
■ Pick a page background
Plain, yellow grid, white grid, lined or dot grid - choose the background that suits how you write, and change it whenever you like.
■ Many pages in one note
Run out of room and add another page. Reorder them, and delete the ones you no longer need.
■ Notebooks and folders
Keep notes in notebooks, and notebooks in folders. Split them by subject, by channel, by whatever makes sense to you.
■ Lock a notebook
Notebooks you would rather keep to yourself can be locked, and unlocked with Face ID, Touch ID or your fingerprint.
■ Classrooms
Create a classroom with the people you study with, post to it and share material.
■ Cloud backup
Notes back up to Google Drive on Android and iCloud on iOS, so a new device picks up where the old one left off.
■ 24 languages
Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Arabic, Turkish, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Malay, Tagalog, Burmese, Khmer and Mongolian.
Lectures, tutorials, online classes - stop letting them wash over you. Keep them as notes.
