Team Selector: Football Lineup

ML13 Limited

About this app

Pick your best team in 30 seconds. Not the night before. Not on a soggy sideline with a paper list. Thirty seconds.

Team Selector is the matchday app for grassroots football coaches. Build your squad once, then let the app do the thinking: one tap auto-selects your strongest lineup for any formation, balances your training teams so nobody complains, and turns your team sheet into a graphic that looks like it came from a Premier League media desk.

Made by a grassroots coach who was tired of doing all this in his head.

PICK YOUR BEST XI IN ONE TAP
• Auto-select instantly picks your strongest lineup from who's available
• Respects positions properly — your striker won't end up in goal
• Lock players into a slot; the app builds around them
• Undo and reshuffle freely — it assists, it never overrules you

EVERY FORMAT, 3v3 TO 11v11
• All small-sided football formats — 5-a-side, 7-a-side, 9v9 and more — with FA pathway recommendations for each age group built in
• Curated formations laid out like a real tactics board — plus a full custom formation editor
• Age groups from U7 to open age

TRAINING TEAMS THAT ARE ACTUALLY FAIR
• Split any group into 2, 3 or 4 genuinely balanced teams in one tap
• Balances ability AND positions — every side gets a keeper, defence and attack
• Don't like it? Reshuffle for a different fair split. Manual moves always allowed

MATCHDAY, HANDLED
• Mark who's available for this match and cap your number of subs
• Auto-picked bench: balanced across positions, or simply your strongest
• Share your lineup as a polished graphic — formation on a proper pitch, or a classic team-sheet list with your badge, kit and numbers
• Straight to the group chat. Watch the reactions roll in

YOUR CLUB, YOUR IDENTITY
• Your badge, your kit — real shirt designs in your colours, everywhere in the app
• Run multiple teams under one club and switch in a tap
• Player photos, nicknames, shirt numbers, captain and vice-captain

YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
• No accounts. No sign-up. No cloud
• Everything lives on your phone — nothing about your players ever leaves it
• One-file backup you control: export, keep it safe, restore anytime
• Bulk-import your whole squad from a spreadsheet in seconds

No subscriptions. No ads. Pay once, coach forever.

Try it before you build anything: the built-in demo squad loads a full team so you can explore every feature in the first minute.

Built for grassroots. Priced for grassroots. Made to give you your Friday nights back.

What’s new

Team Selector on iPad.

Open it on an iPad and the whole matchday is on one screen: pitch on one side, bench on the other, drag a player straight across. Training teams sit side by side, the squad grid gets more room, and the custom formation builder fits whatever screen you're on.

Android tablets and foldables get the same layouts.

Nothing changes on your phone. Also fixed: the formation builder no longer gets cut off on wide screens.
