The MLJ Sermons app connects you to the preaching ministry collection of Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones. Lloyd-Jones was a Welsh Protestant minister, preacher and medical doctor who was influential in the Reformed wing of the British evangelical movement in the 20th century. Dr. Lloyd-Jones preached over 1,600 sermons and the complete catalog of his messages is available for streaming and downloading through this app.

App features include: streaming sermons, downloading sermons, play/pause controls, sharing sermons, controlling sermon speed, marking sermons as favorites, scripture reference (for related Bible verses), audio controls, search (eg. Jesus, God, prophet, etc.) and more.

Ratings and reviews

I want to like this app and use it, but every download prompts for accepting the terms, and/or starts like it's downloading but can't do anything. I have to quit the app. It would be ideal to only accept the terms once and then be able to queue multiple downloads instead of waiting for it to download one episode at a time. Guess I'll just use the website.

MLJ is a great preacher, but this app has issues. I downloaded it a week or so ago, and I've listened to a couple of sermons. But, the last couple of days, when I search for sermons that I know he has preached, the app just spins and spins and never returns any results. The only thing I see is the previous sermon I already listened to, and that is showing at the bottom of the app display window. I'm able to use their website to listen to his sermons. Hope the app is updated soon.

The app works well on my phone. No crashing issues like in the past (like 2 yrs ago). Grateful for the technical updates to improve the sound quality of very old recordings.
