About this app

Keep your job records clear without a complicated project management system.

Trade Ledger helps independent tradespeople and small service businesses record job charges, materials, work notes and payments.

CREATE CLEAR BILLS
Add work items, material costs and discounts. Update charges as a job progresses and keep received payments separate from the balance due.

TRACK WORK, NOT EXTRA ADMIN
Start and stop a timer or add a short work note. Time records do not automatically add charges to a bill.

KEEP OPTIONAL PHOTO RECORDS
Attach photos to charges, work notes or payment records when useful. Photos are optional for quick jobs.

FIND AND SHARE YOUR RECORDS
Search bills, filter by status or date, and share a read-only web link with a customer. Customer approval is not required to keep working on a bill.

SETTLE AND ARCHIVE
Record payments as you receive them. Once a bill is fully settled, archive it to prevent further edits.

OPTIONAL PRO MEMBERSHIP
Start with a free monthly bill allowance. An optional monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription increases limits and enables CSV export. Prices and limits are shown in the app before purchase. Manage or cancel renewal in your Google Play subscription settings.

The app supports English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. Sign in with Google or email. An internet connection is required. New bills support CNY, USD, EUR, GBP, HKD, SGD, AUD, CAD, NZD and CHF, with two decimal places and no currency conversion. Bill dates use China time (UTC+8). Customer web pages are currently in Chinese. This app records payments; it does not transfer customer money, issue tax invoices or provide accounting advice.
