About this app

iGBA is a fast, no-nonsense GBA emulator and Gameboy emulator for Android: load the Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Color and Game Boy files you already own and play them with save states, cheats, rewind and a real gamepad. Every feature is free: ads pay for the app and one purchase removes them. No account, and the emulator works offline.

iGBA does not include any games or ROMs and never downloads any. You open your own files from your device.

CONTROLS THAT FIT YOUR HANDS
• Move, resize and restyle every on-screen button: colour, shape, outline, label, plus eight ready-made skins.
• D-pad or analogue stick, optional diagonals, combined A+B button, turbo A/B, adjustable haptics.
• Bluetooth and USB gamepad support: remap every button, one saved profile per controller.
• Put fast forward, rewind, quick save, quick load or autofire on any spare pad button.
• On-screen controls step aside on their own while a controller is connected, so the game gets the whole screen.
• Separate layouts for portrait and landscape, on phones, tablets and foldables.

• Retro screen filters: LCD grid, scanlines and a CRT curve, plus the classic green Game Boy palettes.
• Three-band equaliser, volume and audio focus, per-game settings.
• Record an MP4 clip of your best run and share it, or grab a screenshot.
• Macros and TAS tools for frame-perfect input.
• Trade Pokemon between two of your own save files, no second device needed (Generations I to III).
• Link cable over your own Wi-Fi network (experimental) for two devices in the same room.
