Tarteel premium is a great app. It has beautiful recitations built in, a great tracking system and error markers for your own recitation, and a broad amount of translations. Unfortunately, it fails at a single key aspect of being an app- notifications. I regularly do NOT get notifications for Friday recitation of Surah Al Kahf, nightly notifications about surah al-Mulk, and other custom notifications. I have had this app for over a year, and even after un/reinstalling it has not been fixed.

Its a really great app, mashallah, its features are wonderful. May Allah bless those who created it and all those who have benefited. I would just like to recommend that a feature that allows you to save your audio recitation progress be added if possible. I think that would truly help people like me who have partly memorized to keep track of what and what I did not already memorize. Again, I can not express how amazing this app is and I truly thank the creators.

The idea is great. The execution leaves a lot to be desired. First off, fast recitation either freezes or confuses the app (false detection of mistakes). But the killer is mistakes at ends of ayat that sound similar are totally missed (huge danger of faulty memorization). One must have a safety net in the form of a human to recite to to make sure those errors won't engrain in memory. Finally despite updating to most recent version it still freezes so frequently. Thank you for the effort though!
