Tap & Learn English is a picture dictionary for children who are meeting English for the first time. All 1,846 words come with their own illustration and a recording by a native speaker. Your child does not need to read, spell, or type anything. One finger is enough.

WORKS WITHOUT THE INTERNET
Every picture and every recording is stored inside the app. It behaves exactly the same on a plane, in the car, or anywhere with no signal. The app does not connect to the internet.

WE COLLECT NOTHING
No account. No sign-in. No name and no email address. The app collects no information about your child and sends nothing anywhere. There is no analytics code and no advertising code inside it. Full details are in the privacy policy.

That is the whole app. No scores, no timers, no right or wrong answers. Children can stay on a favorite page as long as they like.

ABOUT THE VOICES
US English is read by a male voice and UK English by a female voice. Each word is spoken once, clearly, so children can hear the difference between the two varieties side by side.

FLAGS AND COUNTRY NAMES
Flags for 218 countries and regions are included as properly licensed vector artwork. Country and region names follow CLDR short forms, with documented exceptions, and are intended as learning references.

THE ALPHABET
A to Z, uppercase and lowercase. Tap a letter to hear its English name, including "zee" in US English and "zed" in UK English, matching the setting you chose.

FOR GROWN-UPS
- Any link that leaves the app is behind a grown-up check (a simple sum). A child cannot reach an outside website by tapping alone.
- There is no promotion for other apps and no link to social media inside the app.
- All audio is generated in advance and stored in the app, so nothing is streamed or requested while your child plays.
- The only things saved are your settings: display language, English variety, sound on or off, and the last page you opened. They stay on the device and are never sent anywhere.

Recommended for ages 4 through elementary school.
