[Mappy’s Key Features]
- New Interface (UI) Applied
Mappy is reborn with a new interface designed for the mobile environment.
Usage has become even more convenient with the introduction of various gestures that are helpful for the mobile environment.
- New Design (GUI) Applied
The aesthetics required for mobile navigation have been improved by introducing a blue key color.
Every aspect, including menus and maps, has been completely revamped.
- 'Simple Mode' Applied for One-Touch Route Guidance
On the new Mappy home screen, users can view their registered home and work locations, as well as recently visited destinations, at a glance without separate searching or route planning, and receive guidance with a single touch.
This feature is designed to save you as much time as possible in your busy daily life. - Integration of Search Menus
We have integrated search functions, previously scattered across different menus, into a single page.
Use integrated search, address search, nearby search, and favorites all on one screen without navigating to separate pages.
- Integration of Search Results and Map
Now, when you search for a destination, you can view the search results list and the map simultaneously.
When going to unfamiliar places, use the map to accurately check the area around your destination.
- Optimized Landscape Mode
We provide an optimized landscape mode for users who prefer using Mappy in landscape mode.
- Improved Nearby Search Function
Mappy's nearby search feature has been revamped into 9 new categories.
It guides you to various facilities near your location, and charging station guidance for electric vehicle users has been newly implemented.
- Improved Route Search Screen and Waypoint Settings
Previously, setting waypoints in Mappy was inconvenient as it required navigating to a separate menu within the route search screen.
It has now been improved so that you can set waypoints directly from the route search screen. - Introduction of a New Concept for TBT Guidance
'TBT Guidance' is being introduced to help you check multiple turns ahead while receiving route guidance.
You can use TBT Guidance by tapping the next/next-next turn guidance area.
- Introduction of Destination Name Sharing and Name Change Features
This is a useful feature for those who frequently attend various gatherings.
You can share the meeting location name after changing it within Mappy.
Try changing the gathering name to something like "OOO Alumni Reunion."
