Mobile API Connect turns an Android phone into a fully-featured SMS gateway for your ERP.

— pull customer messages on your business number straight back to your webhook. All through your own SIM card and your own phone number.

WHAT IT DOES

• Push SMS via REST API. POST {to, text, ref} to /v1/messages — we queue it, your paired Android sends it via your SIM.
• Pull inbound SMS via signed webhook. Every reply your SIM receives is HMAC-signed and POSTed to your ERP endpoint within 2 seconds. Auto-retried 5×.
• Auto-reply engine. Configure keyword rules (contains / exact / regex) in the web portal — first match fires its template, fallback to a default reply.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Install the app on a dedicated Android phone with an active SIM.
2. Tap Pair — receive your API key + signing secret (shown once, save them).
3. Drop your API key into your ERP. Configure your webhook URL in the portal.
4. The phone polls our backend every 3 seconds for outbound jobs; sends SMS via your SIM; reports delivery.
5. Inbound SMS arrives at the SIM → app posts it to our backend → our auto-reply engine runs your rules → webhook fires to your ERP.

PRIVACY-FIRST

• We never read your contacts.
• Outbound message content is queued only until the phone sends it, then minimised in our database.
• You control the SIM, the phone, the API key, and can unpair / wipe at any time.
• Encrypted local storage of credentials (Android EncryptedSharedPreferences).
• HMAC-SHA256 signatures on every outbound webhook.

BATTERY-FRIENDLY

Foreground service runs at under 1% per hour. No GPS, no aggressive wake-locks. Auto-resumes on reboot.

• An active SIM with SMS allowance
• Network connection (Wi-Fi or cellular data)
• Permission to send + receive SMS
