About this game
SudoZen is a calm, focused Sudoku game for solo practice and live play with friends.
Train your brain with classic 9×9 number puzzles, then challenge someone to the same grid and race to finish. Jump in as a guest for a quiet game. Create an account when you are ready to compete.
SOLO SUDOKU
Pick a difficulty and press Play:
• Easy — perfect for beginners
• Medium — a moderate challenge
• Hard — for Sudoku experts
• Killer — the toughest puzzles, with the fewest clues
Every board is a classic Sudoku with one unique solution. The selected row, column, and 3×3 box light up, and matching digits are highlighted so you can scan faster. Switch on notes (pencil marks) to track candidates. Finish a line or box and you get a short celebration, with optional sound.
Solo games give you three lives. A wrong number costs one life. Reset clears your entries on the same puzzle. Skip deals a new puzzle of the same difficulty. Both ask you to confirm first. Pause the timer anytime. After you press Play, Continue Game on the home screen brings you back to your saved board — unstarted puzzles are not saved.
Stuck? Watch a short rewarded video for a hint that fills the correct digit. A badge on the lightbulb shows how many hints you have used.
CHALLENGE TO FRIENDS
Compete in real time on the same puzzle. Create a room, share a 6-character invite code, and wait for your friend to join.
Free play is 1 vs 1. Both of you see progress, hint counts, and remaining lives. Challenges use five lives, and there is no video undo. The first player to solve the board wins. If a player uses all five wrong attempts, the opponent wins. Leave the match and it counts as a forfeit.
Empty waiting rooms expire if nobody joins. Your challenge history is kept for 7 days.
PROFILE AND ACCOUNT
Sign in to reserve a unique username — you need one to create or join a challenge. Add a display name, optional photo, email, date of birth, and mobile number. Log out anytime, or permanently delete your account from Profile.
SUDOZEN PRO (OPTIONAL)
Upgrade this account once to:
• Host rooms with up to 4 players (free rooms stay 1 vs 1)
• Take hints without watching ads (every hint is still counted and shown to the other players)
You do not need PRO to play solo Sudoku or a 1 vs 1 challenge. Rewarded ads appear only when you choose a hint.
