Although Google Play says "This app is available for all your devices", when I install it and start it on my phone (Samsung Galaxy A53 5G) it gives an error message in Japanese saying my phone does not support the Japanese osaifu-keitai (phone wallet) system and when you click "OK" on the error message the app closes. So the information given on Google Play about whether the app will work on your phone is wrong.

It's fantastic the company has decided to make an app that will allow you use PASMO on the phone. It is a relatively new endeavor for the company and they still have to iron out a few things. Integration into Google pay would be fantastic. The fact that you cannot charge the card under a ¥1000 yen for example (¥100, ¥500) is a little bit of a shame. their competitor company allows you to charge any amount through Google pay to the card or through their individual app.

It worked well. For those people who said it doesn't work, please reading the supported device list on モバイルPasmo website, and a very important thing is if your phone doesn't have Felica support, you can't use this app even though it has NFC! It means even you have latest global phones likes Samsung S20, Note 10 or Onplus 7T, or even Sony xperia phones..., if they are not products for Japanese market and doesn't support Felica, you can't use モバイルPasmo.
