Core Gameplay: Predict and Play
The goal is simple: be the first player to empty your deck of cards.
The Cards: The game features four distinct, beautifully illustrated cards:
- Owl
- Hedgehog
- Squirrel
- Bird (The game's special card)
Setup: You and the Monster Opponent each start with a hand of 12 randomly dealt cards.
Your Turn:
1. Make a Prediction: At the start of your turn, you must choose and commit to one of the three main animal cards: Owl, Hedgehog, or Squirrel. Your choice will be highlighted on screen.
2. Draw: You then draw the top card from your own deck.
3. Check the Match:
Success! If the drawn card matches your prediction, you get to keep playing! Continue your turn by making a new prediction and drawing again.
Mismatch! If the drawn card does not match your prediction, your turn ends immediately, and it passes to the Monster Opponent.

The Bird card adds a thrilling element of reaction and speed:
If you draw the Bird card, the rules change! Your prediction doesn't matter.
A countdown of 2 seconds begins. You must be lightning-fast and tap the Bird card on the screen before the time runs out.
Tap in Time: If you successfully tap the card, you win the turn and keep playing!
Miss the Tap: If you fail to tap the card within the 2-second limit, your turn ends, and it passes to the Monster Opponent.

On its turn, the Monster Opponent simply chooses one of the three main animal cards (Owl, Hedgehog, or Squirrel) at random and draws from its deck, following the exact same matching rules as you (including losing its turn on a mismatch or a missed Bird tap).
