The New International Version Bible is one of the most beautiful apps, since within it is the word of God, established as the library or collection of sacred books, which contains the stories, doctrines, codes and traditions that guide Christians based on the Jewish tradition.
The New International Version Bible has its origins in a modern translation project by the National Association of Evangelicals in the USA in 1957.
In 1967, the International Bible Society “now Biblica” took over responsibility for the project and hired a team of 15 experts from various evangelical Christian denominations and from various countries to translate the oldest manuscripts.
In 1979, Biblica decided to produce a Spanish New Testament following the NIV translation principles, which they worked on with various individuals and committees for more than ten years. The translation process sought to preserve the original language while also taking into account the target language. Many original and well-known phrases were kept, but others were introduced to communicate concepts “that are not as clear in other versions”. The NIV Bible present in our app matches the Biblica printing of 2015.
