MOD LIGHTING controls every smart fixture in your home from one place. Set the brightness, warm or cool the white, pick a color, and save the result so the room comes back the same way tomorrow.

CONTROL
Brightness and color temperature on one dial. Full color for RGB fixtures. Presets you save once and reach in a tap.

SPACES
Group the lights in a room into a space and set the whole room at once. Turn everything off on your way out, from the Home screen.

SYNC
Fixtures that should always match are linked into a single control. Change one and the rest follow.

TIMERS AND SCHEDULES
Give a light a countdown, or a schedule that repeats on the days you choose.

PAIRING
Adding a light takes Bluetooth and your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The app walks you through it, and when something does not take, it tells you what actually went wrong.

YOUR ACCOUNT
Sign in with your email and a six digit code. There is no password to remember. Your orders, your addresses and your store credit sit in the app next to your lights.

COMPATIBILITY
Works with MOD LIGHTING smart fixtures. A 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network is required. Remote-only fixtures are not app controlled.

Ratings and reviews

Poor! Group fails for us, we have 3 lights but one light can not be added to a group with the other two. There are preset color patterns and no way to edit or create you own. No way to copy a color or manually enter it. Also the brightness adjustment is on the bottom of the screen with no way to access it from a standard phone. I can reach it only if I use my tablet, just poor use of screen space! App has not been updated in a long time!

Their app leaves much to be desired. We got 5 of the Mod 59" Hayley Smart RGB lights so we could program the lights with the ease of the phone. The app does not include all the options the remote does and its limited in what it can do. They definitely need to invest in better technology for the app use for these lights. The app needs to improve their "scenes" available as well as add the function for chasing, blinking, etc. Govee does much better in their app and functions. Just a thought.

App pairing is trash and instructions are confusing. Lights connect to remote control no problem. You get 3-5 seconds from power on to try to get into pairing mode, per instructions. Tried this with SEVEN Haylen "smart" lights and none of them will go into app pairing mode. Remote should have dedicated pairing button instead of using the on button w/long press. They gave us 14 button options why not add a 15th to simplify or add a pairing button on the light itself?

When a light doesn't respond to a tap, the app now tells you which one and what to try. If a new light joins your Wi-Fi but can't get online, you'll see exactly that, not a password prompt. Shop codes land where they should, and your rewards balance stays current.
