SPEED STICK is the companion app for the Model Train Technology Speed Stick — the wireless speed and timing sensor for model railroads. Point your trains past the stick and watch their true scale speed, transit time, and lap times appear instantly on your phone.
⚠ Requires a Model Train Technology Speed Stick (sold separately). This app displays and configures the sensor over Bluetooth; it does not work on its own.
WHAT IT DOES
• Live scale-speed readout in a big, glanceable LED-style display
• Reads your stick over Bluetooth Low Energy — no pairing, no setup, just power it on
• Shows the model scale (HO, N, O, G, and more) and the true 1:xx ratio
• Works with several sticks at once — swipe between them
MODES
• SPEED — scale speed in MPH or KPH
• TIMING — sensor-to-sensor transit time in milliseconds
• LOOP — lap timing with a live running clock and freeze-on-result
CONFIGURE FROM YOUR PHONE
• Set the stick's mode, units (MPH/KPH/MS), and scale right from the app
• Battery level shown for each stick
MAKE IT YOURS
• Name each stick so you know which is which
• Per-stick display color and font, including a true 7-segment LED look
• History log of past readings, with share/export
