🧘‍♂️ Modoro Focus

I created Modoro Focus because I was distracted. My phone was doing too much. For all it was doing, not much of it was useful, fulfilling, or productive.

I wanted to be more present. For my work. For my family. For my life. Inspired by the growing “dumbphone” movement, I decided to build something that could help me reclaim focus without giving up the benefits of a modern device.

I needed a way to reduce my phone’s functionality down to the essentials. To curate an experience that centered what mattered, pushed away what I only occasionally needed, and left the rest behind. I also needed to separate work from life while maintaining the ability to do work from my device. This allowed productivity during work hours without letting work invade everything else, while still using my device as a true work tool.

If you have a managed profile from work, the work apps get pulled into your work schedule automatically. Otherwise, you can curate apps out of your own profile, specifically for work.

Modoro Focus blends a minimalist launcher with distraction blocking and smart scheduling. It helps you stay off social media, stay mindful of your time, and stay focused on what’s important.

🔒 Focus Protection & Parent Lock

Focus Protection lets you block access to everything you don’t define. A permission-first approach to curating your device.
You create an unlock code during setup. This protects you from distractions, settings tampering, or endless scrolling.

Parent Lock extends that protection for teen device use.
A parent can assign their email as the unlock reset target. This ensures kids can’t bypass Focus Protection or remove restrictions.
