Drive safe and get rewarded! Drivewise® is a free application that gives drivers the ability to save up to 30% on their auto insurance!*

For a six-month period the app will monitor your driving behaviour and provide you with detailed information on:
1. Time and duration of your trips
2. Harsh or extreme braking events
3. Excessive Speed

Edit: reduced from 2 to 1 star. Doesn't track even half my trips. All green checks in setup. The app doesn't track half of my trips. For example, recently I made a trip that was 25 km one way with a short 3 km trip in between. Didn't track either one of the 25 km but tracked the short 3 km trip. Also, the hard brake tracking is way too sensitive. It feels like if I even touch my brakes it registers as a hard brake. Apparently I need to start rolling to a stop at least a km before it.

It doesn't track half my trips, it's like I have a limit of 1 a day (yes, I turned off power saver, I'll even have the app open). Handsfree calls (accepting/using voice command to call) triggers the phone usage. Can't pull over to send a text because it's 'phone usage' even if I'm PARKED. Can't use my phone for 5 mins after I'm parked or it triggers as 'phone usage'. Have it literally say 'parked at 12:34, phone usage as 12:35'. It doesn't account for switching drivers halfway through a trip

This app had proven to me its not accurate. One time, it did not register correctly the start of my trip registering only when I already drove maybe a kilometer distance. When I checked the history, it showed I pressed the brake successive times which I normally do not do nor remember doing it. Also, it completely fail to record few trips. Second, it does not distnguish defensive braking to avoid hitting a squirrel sprinting across my path. It is not a perfect driving monitoring app.
