Drive safe and get rewarded! Drivewise® is a free application that gives drivers the ability to save up to 30% on their auto insurance!*

For a six-month period the app will monitor your driving behaviour and provide you with detailed information on:
1. Time and duration of your trips
2. Harsh or extreme braking events
3. Excessive Speed
Once the monitoring period is complete, the discount you’ve qualified for will be applied automatically. Not only will you be able to save money on your premium but you’ll receive valuable feedback on your driving habits, which will help make you a better driver, while keeping our roadways safer.

Allstate thinks it owns my phone.. The way the terms are written makes it look like they own my device and doing me a favor by letting me use the app. The app tracks every move, asks for more permissions than needed to track. If allstate wants to track my car they need to start giving out devices that I can plug into my car. They shouldn't be able to track where I eat and where I sleep!!

Sometimes the app has issues to identify correct trip path so it understands as sudden change of direction and therefore braking. Also, a quick stop at a grocery store merges 2 trips into 1, so any phone usage while our of the car is considered phone usage while driving. If this is not used, please either remove from the app or fix it.

Destroys my phone battery life as well as my driving reputation. It thinks I am a car when I am electric skateboarding to class and racks up hundreds of braking events. I am sick of manually removing all these trips. The minimum speed for triggering the app should be changed from 25kmh to 40. Very unsatisfied with this app from Allstate insurance.
