About this app

Have you ever felt inconvenienced by small text in a weather app, or frustrated because a screen reader didn't read the content properly?

Modu Weather was designed from the ground up with the goal of being a "weather app that anyone can use comfortably."

We created it with the visual impairment, those with low vision who see text blurry, and seniors whose eyesight is not what it used to be, in mind first.

■ We did not add barrier-free features later

- Font size adjustable in 3 levels: Standard, Large, and Extra Large

- We paid special attention to ensuring that weather information and location changes can be heard via a screen reader (TalkBack)

- We designed the app so that it can be used solely through keyboard navigation, without touch input

- We adjusted font size and contrast so that even the elderly or those with low vision who previously had to zoom in can read without magnification

- We personally verified the screen reader reading sequence using scenarios simulating various situations, such as visual impairments and developmental disabilities

We created this with accessibility in mind from the initial design stage, rather than adding it later. However, as this is still an early version, there may be some shortcomings in actual usage environments. Please let us know if you experience any inconveniences, and we will address them promptly. ■ We Provide Judgment, Not Just Information

Rain, snow, fine dust, UV rays, temperature changes... trying to keep track of everything can be overwhelming. Modu Weather selects the one thing you need to pay most attention to today based on priority and tells you in a single line.

We provide judgment in the following order: Risk of freezing → Rain/Snow → High fine dust levels → High UV levels → Sharp temperature drop → Daily temperature range → (If nothing special happens) Outfit recommendations.

■ Shows Today Compared to Yesterday

When you open the app, you see "How Today Is Compared to Yesterday" first. You can grasp at a glance how different today is from yesterday without having to scrutinize the numbers one by one.

- Hourly temperature graph (including yesterday-today comparison line)

- Weekly forecast

- Precipitation, wind, UV rays, fine dust

- Save multiple regions and switch quickly

- Supports searching for cities worldwide

■ Quietly, Without Ads for Now

We will notify you in advance if the service operation method changes. For now, you can check the weather without ads.

■ Building Together

This is a one-person developed app still in its early stages. If you let us know about any inconveniences or areas for improvement you experience while using the service, we will carefully incorporate them one by one.

The visually impaired, the elderly, and those who are still unfamiliar with smartphones all view the same screen. It is not a separate "easy mode," but a single screen designed that way from the start.

Weather is information you check every day. We hope that every day can be a little more convenient.
