• U by Moen shower is a WiFi/cloud-based digital shower system that offers mobile connectivity
• To create a personalized showering experience, U features three ways to control your shower: voice, phone and controller
• With voice activation, you can activate your shower with the sound of your voice through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
• Download the U by Moen smartphone app to personalize and control your shower from your smartphone
• Through the app you can:
o create up to 12 personalized shower presets, including name, greeting, outlets, temperature, shower timer and notifications
o turn on your shower from bed and have the shower pause once it warms up to your desired temperature, saving time and water until you are ready to step in
o customize system wide settings such as outlet icons, which WiFi network the system is connected to, language and time zone

Doesn't connect or work at all anymore. My husband was able to set this up on his phone when we first installed the shower but because we couldn't share his log on or have two people log in. I logged in on my phone since I'm the one who's home the most and uses the remote features. Never worked since then. And we've been in our brand new home for almost 2 years. Spent all this money on this stupid shower and it doesn't work.

It works but has some operational issues. For instance if you create a preset and run it, once you move from the screen and come back you are back to your preset options but can't manually adjust anything until you select on or another preset. It is a clear oversight, but it is annoying. I didn't mention anything to now, I figured moen would have fixed it without a review, but no updates since I've owned it for more than a year now. Updated 10/2023: Seems like recent updates have greatly stabilized the app and it no longer crashes constantly. Hopefully they can keep it working. (Updated 11/2022): 3 years later and it's still unusable. Don't waste your time. (Original review): App crashes constantly whenever I try to change settings. Can't update presets, change screen settings...nothing.
