Once a court order for disclosure is finalized, the Minister of Justice must promptly send the information required for disclosure to the Minister of Gender Equality and Family to enable the order to be executed.
The Minister of Gender Equality and Family is responsible for the disclosure of sex offender information.

Therefore, the sex offender information disclosed is executed in accordance with the court order,
and the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family does not arbitrarily select the individuals subject to disclosure.

Furthermore, we are verifying personal information in accordance with the procedures stipulated by law.
Please understand that personal information verification is also a technical measure necessary for security and other purposes to prevent the leakage of publicly available information.
Article 49, Paragraph 5 (Disclosure of Registration Information) of the Act on the Protection of Children and Youth from Sexual Abuse stipulates that:
⑤ Anyone seeking to access publicly available information through an information and communications network must undergo a real-name verification process.
⑥ Specific methods and procedures regarding real-name verification and the technology and management to prevent the leakage of publicly available information shall be determined by Presidential Decree.
And regarding screenshots, we are taking an unavoidable measure in accordance with regulations requiring the implementation of security and other technical measures to prevent personal information leakage.
Furthermore, there have been cases where courts have actually issued fines for the distribution of publicly available information.
Therefore, we are implementing anti-capture programs and watermarking to prevent such damage in advance.

Such details are stipulated in Article 29 (Duty of Safety Measures) of the Personal Information Protection Act, which states that personal information processors must take necessary technical, managerial, and physical measures to ensure the security of personal information, including establishing an internal management plan and retaining access records, as prescribed by Presidential Decree, to prevent the loss, theft, leakage, alteration, or damage of personal information.
Furthermore, Article 19 (Operation of a Website Dedicated to Public Information, etc.) of the Enforcement Decree of the Act on the Protection of Children and Youth from Sexual Abuse stipulates that ② the Minister of Gender Equality and Family shall take technical measures, such as gradual access to public information, prohibiting input and output by users of public information, and ensuring security, and constantly monitor such measures to prevent the leakage of public information registered on the dedicated website.
