Meet the atom friends! Every atom has little hands, and atoms love to hold hands with each other. When every hand is held, you've made a molecule!

Molecule Makers is a gentle, hands-on chemistry game for curious kids aged about 6 to 12. Children drag atoms together to build real molecules like water, oxygen, carbon dioxide and methane, and discover the real rules of chemical bonding along the way. No reading of textbooks, no memorizing: kids learn by building.

WHAT KIDS LEARN
• Atoms and their "hands" (valence): Hydrogen has 1, Oxygen 2, Nitrogen 3, Carbon 4
• Bonds are shared pairs of electrons
• Single, double and triple bonds
• Elements vs. compounds ("two of a kind" or different atoms together)
• Isomers: the same atoms can make different molecules
• Real-world facts about 40 molecules, from the water we drink to the gas in a barbecue

• 33 missions in 6 chapters, from your first water molecule to glycine, a building block of life
• Two modes: Normal shows which atoms each molecule needs; in Hard, kids work it out themselves
• A short, animated lesson every time something new appears
• Earn up to 3 stars by solving a mission on your own. Stuck? Hints appear over time, so no child is ever left behind
• Atom friends with faces: they look around for a partner, smile as they bond, and beam when every hand is held
• Discovery Book: collect every molecule and tap it to learn more
• Free Lab: build anything the rules allow and hunt for 7 secret molecules
