We want our children to feel comfortable in the world of finances. We don't expect all of them to become financial analysts or bankers. But regardless of who they choose to become, our kids will have to deal with bank accounts, credit cards, home mortgages, car insurance, investment funds, retirement plans, and many more aspects of the financial system. So, we are a little late to the chores game...but I have been looking all morning for a chores app. I downloaded a couple and found that they were confusing or didn't give an option of NOT setting a schedule (which doesn't work for our schedule). I ended up finding MoneyOrc and not only does it differentiate between jobs (as needed) and chores (set schedule)...there is also the ability to create fines/penalties, set up insurance policies, and investments (all within the app - not real ones!).

We chose to use MoneyOrc app because of the indepth financial lessons built into it and can use it without linking a bank account. Appreciate the simple start by tracking chores with our young family, look forward to using more features as the kids mature. On the first day of use, we came across a software issue. I notified the team and they immediately fixed it and replied. I even got a $50 Bug Bonus for finding the bug in their update! Communication with the team is professional and fun!

Wow. This app is great. I am really impressed with this app. i was looking for something to track some cash I was holding for my daughter... Now I have all 3 kids begging for something to do. They are supper excited about "investing" their earnings to earn interest. The family account and sharing is implemented VERY nicely. All of my kids already installed the app and are even using in app messaging to request chores...
