Mongle Map is a place exploration app that helps you discover locations using themed maps tailored to your tastes and situations, and allows you to bookmark your favorite spots to organize them into your own personalized itinerary.

You can easily save places you want to view again. You can use it without logging in, and your bookmarked items are stored on your current device.

Gather the places you want to visit and organize them into your own personalized itinerary. Saved itineraries are stored on your current device and are not synchronized with your account.

You can open the selected location in the Naver Map app or on the web to continue viewing its location and travel route.

Quick Replay

It caches a portion of recently loaded public content on your device to reduce waiting time when viewing it again. If both the network and verified cache are unavailable, the app displays default curation based on sources as a fallback and prompts you to check back for the latest operational information. An internet connection may be required to load the latest information and remote images.

**Privacy Focused on Essential Features**

The Mongle Map app does not require a login or account creation. Up to one Google AdMob banner ad may be displayed per list: after the sixth card in the Theme Explore list, and after the tenth item in the Festivals/Performances and Accommodations lists. To provide ads, measure usage, and prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may process IP addresses (which can be used to estimate approximate location), app interactions, diagnostic information, and device identifiers. Ads are requested only if Google UMP has approved them, and if privacy options are available, you can verify this in the Ad Privacy selection in the menu.

Starting with app version 1.0.4, you can start without entering your date of birth, and your date of birth is not collected or stored. App ads are rated for all ages and apply child-friendly and non-personalized settings. Even if ads cannot be loaded, you can still use other app features.

When you open the Mongle Map webpage within the app, a randomly generated installation identifier, execution session identifier, and the app source, platform, and version are transmitted for use in webpage visit statistics. Starting with App version 1.0.5, the same identifiers and app information are sent to the server for execution statistics upon app launch, and retries of the same launch are not counted as duplicates. Statistics IDs are not created using date of birth, location, or ad IDs; instead, a one-way hash value is stored on the server. For recommendations near your location, the foreground location is checked only once when the user agrees and requests it. These coordinates are used solely for distance calculations within the device and are not transmitted to the Mongle Map server or for ad requests. Wishlists, courses, and cache are stored in the app's local storage.
