This app 📱 is an offline 📴 archive-building workbench 🛠️ for creating and exploring branching historical timelines. Users create their own "archives" (chronicles), fill them with dated entries that include a title, summary, year 🗓️/month/day, precision level, significance rating, tags, and links to other entries they depend on. Entries can be organized into forked branches, letting users build alternate storylines off any point in an archive. Each entry also gets a custom, procedurally designed emblem created in a dedicated studio, where the user adjusts motif, pattern, palette, complexity, and rotation on a live hand-drawn canvas preview. Once built, an archive can be explored four different ways: a scrubable timeline of entries, a draggable node-link dependency graph, a calendar view with day-by-day density cells, and a search screen that shows a visual distribution of results across eras and tags. A statistics screen shows animated charts summarizing tag usage, entries per decade, an authoring streak, and overall archive completeness. Other screens include a gallery of all emblem artwork across every archive, a tag manager for creating and color-coding custom labels, and a settings screen with haptic feedback toggle, accent color picker, and data reset. The app ships with a real first-run example archive (a chronology of the history of timekeeping) so it is never empty on first launch. All data is stored locally on the device and the app works fully offline, with no accounts, camera, photo access, ads, or purchases.
