Ratings and reviews

This app gives what appears to be a reasonable approximation of the ambient room temperature. Sometimes a promotion comes up, to get some free days/weeks of the app's Premium version. I can't always figure out how to get out of the Promotion text, and back to the temperature, which can be a little frustrating, but otherwise it's fine.

I tested this app against an actual outdoor thermometer at various times during the day and night, as well as in full sun and shade. The results were almost identical every time with at most a .3 variation. This is the best thermometer app I have found, and the reason for the low star rating is 2020 and earlier ratings. Some of them were from people looking for fever thermometers or not wanting to give their location which of course would not give an accurate temperature!

Terrible. Just always says it's 65 degrees whether I'm in a freezing room or warm hallway. And clicking on settings just takes you to an ad (I couldn't figure out how to bypass the ad to get to settings)
