MonkUs — a calm space for intentional living.
In a world demanding constant attention, MonkUs helps you reclaim it. Four tools, one purpose: build a life of discipline without losing yourself to your phone.
FOCUS — HABIT TRACKING
Build daily habits that compound. Track streaks, see your weekly progress at a glance, and watch a full year of consistency take shape in your heatmap. No social feeds, no leaderboards — just you and your progress.
RISE — SMART ALARM
Wake up fully, not groggily. Choose from engaging dismissal missions — math, typing, shake, QR scan, and more — so snoozing back to sleep isn't an option. Gentle wake, custom sounds, and reliable scheduling that fires exactly on time.
BOUNDARIES — APP BLOCKING
Block distracting apps during focus sessions you define. See your screen-time breakdown, set usage limits, and let MonkUs hold the line when willpower runs out.
ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE — HOW BOUNDARIES WORKS
To block distracting apps, Boundaries uses Android's Accessibility Service API — the only way MonkUs can detect when you open an app you've chosen to block and respond with the block screen. It does not read on-screen text, keystrokes, or any personal data; it only checks which app is currently open, and nothing it sees ever leaves your device. Before turning it on, MonkUs shows a clear on-screen explanation and asks you to explicitly choose "Allow" or "Deny." You can turn it off anytime from Android Settings → Accessibility, which simply disables app blocking.
MONK MODE — MINIMAL LAUNCHER
Replace your home screen with something calmer. Pin only the apps that matter, surround yourself with a daily quote instead of a feed, and turn your phone back into a tool instead of a trap.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
MonkUs is fully offline. No account, no login, no analytics, no ads. Everything stays on your device — nothing is ever collected or transmitted anywhere.
Calm, minimal, purposeful. No aggressive gamification. Just the structure to build the discipline you're after.
Habits, alarms, app blocking & a minimal launcher — for intentional living.
