Mooch is a shared inventory you build with the people you already trust. List what you're willing to lend, see what your friends have offered up, and borrow it for the weekend instead of buying it.

FRIENDS ONLY
No strangers, no marketplace, no browsing by people you've never met. You only see items from people you've connected with, and only they see yours.

BOTH PEOPLE CONFIRM
When something changes hands, you both mark it. The owner confirms it was picked up and the borrower confirms they have it — nobody can close out a loan on their own. Same when it comes back.

Every item you've lent and everything you've borrowed, in one place. No more wondering who has your drill.

GIVE THINGS AWAY
Mark something free and it moves to whoever claims it. Good for hand-me-downs, moving boxes, and the stuff you'd otherwise leave on the curb.

Import your contacts to see who's already on Mooch, or text an invite to someone who isn't.

NO FEES, EVER
Mooch doesn't take a cut, because there's nothing to take a cut of. Lending things to your friends should be free.

Ratings and reviews

Great concept but strangely invasive. You can't invite your friends to join your network with a link, the app demands full access to your contacts instead. Even though this app, unlike similar ones, is not neighborhood-based it still asks for a physical address to create an account. When I tried to use the app today, there was no button to add any item to the 'My Stuff' tab. Delete account feature doesn't work. so data turned over is permanent.

Claims it's a financial app and the you can lend money as an investment but that isn't true at all. It only for people who know each other. Nevermind the fact there is zero direction on the app to begin with. It really weird how they want your SSN just for an app that's for lists etc. Delete my info (there isn't any way of doing this in app)

Doesn't seem to work. Tried creating an account, but after entering name, email and an address the app just consistently crashes.
