Update: deleting the app data and cache a couple times did the trick. The app is working well once again! The app is easy to use however, like many others, it crashes immediately upon opening the app for me and I haven't been able to figure out a fix. I have uninstalled it multiple times to no avail. Luckily my lamp is on a color that I like but a fix would be nice. I'll gladly remove my 1 star when the app starts working again.

The latest Android app update had some database incompatibility issues with the previous version of the app. So the app might crash on some Android 12 devices after it updates from the previous version. The solution is to delete the app's cache and data from the phone, then reinstall it. Also, the app requires system Bluetooth to be enabled:)

Worked great back when receiving the KS package. Now, I have 2 color modes and 1 music reactive. EDIT: it took a lot of time, but I finally was able to get the app to connect to wherever it is that the different effects are stored. (Why not code a good portion of the effects directly into the app, so that no connection is needed to access at least a certain amount of color modes?) Anyway, since its worked out, hopefully for a while, I erased my negative review, and adjusted my rating. Thanks.

The product and the light is very nice, but the app needs to be way more polished. The app crashes if the Bluetooth is off even if you configure all your lights via WiFi. The creation of a pixel theme doesn't work on my phone... And I was very excited to try that to be honest. I hope there is a new version coming up that solves all these bugs.

Please note that the app currently requires the system's Bluetooth to be enabled to function, otherwise it might encounter crashes. We will definitely improve the pixel drawing functionality and fix some bugs that might occur on Huawei Android devices.
