About this app

Moovr is the first app-enabled bike and e-scooter sharing service in the Philippines. We provide easy mobility for Filipinos wanting to beat the city traffic.

With our app, you can:

Find the nearest bikes and e-scooter hubs
Scan the QR code on our ride locks for a seamless cashless transaction
Locate the nearest ride station when you’re done
Check your ride history

First time use of the app was a hassle when getting registered and topping up, but you'll eventually get past that. Riding the e-scooter was fun, but the rates seem unfair. It could have been better if it was like a taxi meter based on how far you've travelled. I really disliked that once you go over even 1 second, especially in instances that you are already logging out and it's still loading, it will automatically charge you for the unused time.

The ten minute charging system put me off this because even if you hit 'end ride', the timer still counts. I had an experience trying to send the parked photo but it won't process. It took forever that even if I allotted time for the whole parking thing, it went over a few seconds in the ten minute cut so I had to pay for another ten minutes. The thing is, the top up is set at 300 pesos minimum so you can't settle the smallest balance without paying another 300. Ruined the whole experience tbh.

It's always a headache to use this app. I was only able to use it twice for more than countless attempts to use it. Sometimes it has problems with payment, sometimes connecting with the vehicle, sometimes with the interface. It didn't fail to lose a problem every time I used it. Today was the last straw, it won't let me use the service even if I have reasonable internet speed. Will have to think twice in the future if I'm gonna use it again.
