hard and complicated, like all merging games it can be fun but they added to many extras, that you have to do to get the full experience. Lots of levels require all 7 energy, for a 3 hour box. and many several levels are so hard that they cheat you out of a win. then you have to wait for full energy before you can try again. also the amount of elf power you need to open land up is way too high.

Dragons & Elfs is one of the most relaxing merge games I’ve played with plenty to do without feeling overwhelming. The graphics are colorful, the events keep things interesting, and it’s satisfying watching your land and creatures grow. Great balance of strategy and casual gameplay that makes it easy to come back every day.

This is a truly enjoyable game. you don't have to spend money to get a lot of the prizes and quests (and you can earn a lot of in game currency anyway through special events and watching a couple of adds). And there is an event pretty much weekly. If you miss one, no worries, it will come back around. I definitely recommend.
