About this app

FloatMeasure is a floating screen ruler for measuring on-screen lengths over other apps, without switching apps. Move and rotate the ruler to match the direction of what you're measuring, and adjust its length as needed.

Basic ruler features are free to use, and the app has no ads
• Centimeters, millimeters, and inches: Switch between cm, mm, and in markings on the ruler for free
• Measurement cursor: Slide the cursor along the ruler to read a length
• Measure real objects: Extend the ruler along a screen edge and measure the length of small objects with your phone
• Automatic snapping: Snap to screen edges when dragging and to fixed angles when rotating, or turn off automatic snapping for free placement
• Adjustable overlay: Change opacity, minimize the ruler to a floating button, and tap to restore it
• Default theme: Use Graphite for free

FloatMeasure Pro is an in-app purchase and unlocks:
• Protractor: Measure angles with a floating protractor and angle cursor; move, rotate, and resize it as needed
• dp ruler unit: Measure button sizes and spacing between UI elements in dp
• Premium themes: Unlock Gilded and Cobalt

Permission to display over other apps is required to show the measurement tools above other apps. A notification is shown while the floating tool is active.

Centimeter, millimeter, and inch markings use the device's reported screen density, so physical measurements may vary by device.

FloatMeasure requires Android 13 or later. Android Go and low-memory devices are not supported.
