About this app

Transfer files between your phone and nearby devices over your local Wi-Fi network—no internet required, and no uploading to a server.

★ What sets it apart: No app required. No installation on the other end. Simply open the link in your computer's browser or scan the QR code with your camera, and a full page will appear where you can upload and download directly. Works with Windows, Mac, Linux, and any device with a browser.

★ Fast and unlimited. Transfer files directly within your local network between devices, using no data and with no file size limit.

★ Resumes where you left off. Did your connection drop in the middle of a large file? The transfer resumes from where it left off instead of starting from scratch—both sending and receiving simultaneously.

★ Shared room for groups. Open a room, share a six-digit code, and everyone can join from the app or a browser. Any file added by one person appears to everyone else instantly. Perfect for meetings, classes, and trips.

★ Your Permanent Library
Organize your frequently shared items into custom-named folders, allowing the other person to browse and select what they need—without having to reselect files each time.

Send apps directly from your device to your friend's device, even newly created apps, and install them within Share Fast.

— Why the Permissions? —
• Network and Wi-Fi: For enabling transfers between devices and detecting nearby devices. Not used for internet access.

• Camera: For scanning QR codes only. No photos are taken.

• List of Installed Apps: To display your apps so you can choose what to share. The list remains on your device.

• Install Apps: To install the Wasla app from another device, and only with your permission.

• Files: To open received items and save them to the Downloads folder.

The app never requests location permission.
