About this game

***
Foray is now available! Foray expands Morels with 13 new types of cards including new items, characters, weather, and a more dynamic forest.
Last fall, crackling fires wreathed the mountains. This spring, light-wielding thunderstorms roiled the valleys. Now, with summer come early and a glowing moon overhead, the soil is moist and black and delicious mushrooms are peeking up all over the forest. The Foray is on!

Super fun game. Bought it to play with friends online but the single player is fun too - just really hard to win against the computer. My only complaint is that while playing online the game often doesn't update automatically when your opponent makes move. So you have to keep exiting and entering the app to constantly reload it to check to see if the other player has taken their turn. This turns what would be a 5 min game into a 10 minute game with annoying procedures. Otherwise it's perfect.

Great for a solo game, against a very strong AI, but the online play essentially doesn't work. First, it gives 24 hours for each turn, which is excessive. Second, even if you try to start multiple games, it will keep matching you up with the same other (unresponsive) player. The interface is fairly good, but it is hard to see or follow what the other player has been doing.

Multiplayer is glitchy. My wife and I love the card game. We got the digital version to make setup easier. Unfortunately the Multiplayer is glitchy and multiple times per session turns do not update. You have to exit to the main menu and then re enter the game for it to update. Makes playing a very frustrating experience.

What's new

-Foray games excluding Eureka had broken AI and could not progress past first cook
-Fixes involving Eccentric card selection logic
-Fixes for Rainstorm taken from the Decay
-Players could not see the current Foray cards in use when tapping on the Day Deck or on the Variant name in the invite acceptance popup.
-When enlarged, Foray cards weren't showing buttons to link to their descriptions in the Rulebook.
