Welcome to Waraka. This app is a digital collection of African hymns designed to look like an ancient manuscript. Waraka means "document" or "scroll" in Swahili. Our goal is to preserve African sacred music and make it easy for everyone to access.

Ancient Design
The app is designed to look like an old book or scroll. We use warm parchment backgrounds, dark ink colors, and classic fonts to create a calm and focused reading environment.

Discover and Sing
- Huge Collection: Browse many African hymns with full lyrics and musical details.
- Hymn of the Day: See a new featured hymn every day on your home screen.
- Custom Reading: Change the font size, align the text, or use auto-scroll to read at your own pace.
- Music Tools: Change the musical key (transposition) and show or hide chords while you sing.

Audio and Video
- Listen While You Read: Play high-quality audio recordings, like organ music and choir vocals, directly in the app.
- Background Play: The music keeps playing even if you close the audio menu, so you can listen while you follow the lyrics.
- Video Performances: Watch YouTube videos of hymns without leaving the app.
