About this app

Motorola Notifications is here to improve your experience with your Motorola smartphone. If you opt in, it sends periodic product-related information, including notifications on software updates, tips and tricks, and information about new Motorola products and services. You will also receive invitations to participate in surveys about your experience with Motorola.

The Motorola Notifications app is available as an update on most Motorola devices. However, the notification service itself will be activated only for specific products and countries. If/when this roll-out happens in your country, a new app will appear in your app tray named "Motorola Notifications". To begin receiving notifications, you'll need to opt in via device setup, via this Motorola Notifications app or via an invitation sent through a notification. You may opt out of receiving notifications at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe button in this app or using the unsubscribe option that is presented when you click on the notifications you receive.

Note: The Data Safety section lists data the application collects for various services the application supports across regions. If a specific service is not available in your country (for example: Hello You, Dimo) or if you do not opt in to that service, your data will not be collected for that service. Any data collected by Motorola is compliant to the respective country's data privacy laws.

I've never had a phone like this before, this is my 1st time getting a Motorola and my last. I am so annoyed everyday all day by the notifications. Yes I want to get notifications of text emails etc, but once I look at the email or the text or whatever I expect they're not to be a notification about that same email or text. But over and over and over again even though I dismiss them and view them they just keep coming back to my phone. I've tried everything and nothing keeps this from happening

Another non optional flashy data mining app that gives you very little in exchange for data. One thing I loved about Motorola in the past was their small amount of bloatware compared to others. That has changed as they not only match and force their own version of a of Google's basic stuff but it seems to be far more than Google. I pay full price for phone with my plan that without root I should have choice to remove since I'm giving you money to shouldn't be able to make it off my phone usage

Motorola G Stylus, Android 10: Since latest update, ALL notifications have defaulted to silent notification. When changing to alert, you're giving choice of sounds or vibration but not both. Seems EVERY app now has a long list of notification settings you have to set. It's crazy. I don't know if my Phone will ring or if I'll get sound notification when SMS / Text messages come it. I want to disable or uninstall ALL Moto functions. My Motorola G6, Android 9 ( I carry 2 cell phones) works great
