I've never left a review for any game I've played... but this simple little game made me feel things that I didnt think were even possible with a phone game. absolutely beautiful. the music, art, the way they convey things with such simplicity. the puzzle piece conversations that get simpler the more you get to know someone, showing how much easier it is to talk to someone the more time you spend with them. it's such a simple concept, but I can only describe it with 2 words.... pure art. ❤

This game is a beautiful, albeit short game. The quality of Florence is not something I'm accustomed to in a mobile game. The graphics are gorgeous and stylized, and the music is excellent. While the gameplay is fairly simple, the engaging, human story within more than makes up for it. There are no loot boxes, no timers, no energy meter, just a solid story that most people can relate to. While the game is a bit short, it doesn't overstay its welcome. It left me wanting more games in the vein of Florence. Florence shows just how much potential for engaging storytelling exists in the mobile market. I hope to see other developers follow in the footsteps of Annapurna Interactive and push the boundaries of mobile games.

A fantastic piece of interactive storytelling that, clearly, a LOT of contextual thought and design went into. Excellent use of color, SUPERB use of something as simple as word balloons to convey a ton of emotion and situational narration. If I spent this much on a comic book with the same story and art, which is about right for the price, I'd consider it to be one of the better comics I own. In the format it's in, however, this far transcends what the conventional graphic novel could. I freaking love this.
